I always felt bad for orphan headers, until I learned from Sally Struthers
that we can feed and clothe these poor unfortunates for only pennies a
day. <g>
Seriously, I think the rule you're talking about is one of those "because
we've always done it that way" conventions, and not worth making a big
deal about - trust me, your readers will NOT care. I'm much more in favor
of fitting the format to my content than vice versa, particularly when
trying to conform to a seemingly arbitrary rule starts costing me time and
effort in unneccessary text juggling.
Same with stacked headings. I say stack 'em.
Just another example of how I live on the edge.
