BTW, John (and equally off-topic), our DBA here sent us this ref today about
the 'Father of the Relational Database' recently passing - very interesting.

Subject: Coincidence?
As retribution for littering the list with a simple, off topic post, for
which I'm sorry, I thought I'd post a little story.
I've started defining stuff in my documentation for the Data base Admins
(DBAs) in my group. Understand that I'm not a DBA, and know only this much
|......|} about SQL.
However, I have some cool tools that are helping me to extra information
about our databases.
Anyway, I extracted a bunch of information, one aspect of it I was not
familiar with. At the same time, I remembered seeing in one of our DBAs
cube, a whole bunch of SQL books, so I went to him and said "Jon, I saw an
SQL Bible in your office, mind if I borrow it to try to figure something out
before I come bug you-guys?" His response was, and I quote "Cool!"
Within 5 minutes after I got back to my desk, there was a message from him
with "Do you want to go over {application} at 2:30 PM this Friday?"
I'd been trying to get him to set time aside for this for almost 3 weeks.
Coincidence?
