A good tech editor needs to be able to function as the
hub of the team. The tech editor needs to know and be
the authority on the doc infrastructure, workflow,
style, and publishing process. Knowing grammar is a
given. Knowing specifics about the products being
documented or the industry is a very desirable plus.
