Re: Page count a list of Word documents
One answer to the question as asked:
On my W2K machine, in Windows Explorer, I can right-click a Word document, click Properties, then click the Summary Tab. Page count is about 6 lines down in the list displayed. This may not suit your needs, but, then again, it might inspire something that does.

I have a folder of a about 1000 documents and need to know the number of
pages in each.
Does anyone know of a way that I can ascertain the page count of each
document, without opening them one by one in Word?
Try a google on "dsofile". It's a freeware dll that enables you to inspect (and set, I think) document properties without opening them. Worked for me via VBA in Access.
