The important thing is that you use a style consistently for each paragraph. Which style you use isn't so important, except as noted above. Personally, I use Normal for body text simply because you can apply that style with a keyboard shortcut (Control-Shift-N) and I've been too lazy to rebind that shortcut to the style for Body text.And I say....
I try to avoid Normal because there always seems to be a "gotcha" in there somewhere. It's easy to assign a shortcut key to Body Text (I use Control+Alt+B myself). In fact, I have shortcut keys for all my most used styles. Saves LOTS of time.
