I've repeatedly pointed out, much to the deep chagrin on the font-fondler
community,

Jeez, I missed that one the first time around. (Thanks to Brian for pointing it out.)

Where can this community be found? Do they have a mailing list? Any information is appreciated.

PS: And about this:
that some of the most influential documents in human history
contained virtually no formatting,[...]. Read some of the RFCs for the
Internet.
It has been pointed out in an earlier discussion that RFCs, in fact, are highly formatted documents. Seems to be a fact that easy to forget.
