Naw.... flashing the boobs doesn't always work. Once knew a gal who'd
wear low-cut tops when going to speak to her reviewers, and she had a
horrible response rate. Also, baked goods and cases of Mountain Dew
won't even get your reviews back in most cases.

One thing I have been able to be a part of in the past... review
meetings. Get people committed to sit in a room with you and go over
the doc and corrections that need to be made. While it is easiest with
short docs in a pretty rapid development cycle, I'm sure you can make it
work with other projects. If your book has twelve chapters, schedule 3
meetings a week for 4 weeks and go over the info in detail in the
meeting. That way, they can go thru the document with you right then
and there and don't have to read it before hand if they don't want to.
Yes, sometimes you'll be pulling your hair out with the process but it
really gets you the best reviews you'll ever have.
