Hm. Sounds like DC is the place to be, as long as I don't have to drive
that damned beltway to do the shopping. I know a lot of people with
"alternative" lifestyles (gay and lesbian "married" couples with and without
children, professional street-corner musicians, a "three's company"-type
arrangement where the "couple" is actually a "triple", and like that), but I
only know one single solitary couple (with children) where the woman goes to
work and the man stays home and takes care of the kids (that is, a single
solitary long-term voluntary arrangement of that sort).
