Actually I did have some of those, come to think of it. I would get
around wearing them by putting on a brooch :-)
And, like you, I too had a suit for ever day of the week.
And imagine my chagrin when I found out that men could wear the same
suit two days in a row and change the shirt and tie, and that was
acceptable.
(Or at least that is what I was told)

You didn't go through the era of the conservative suit, the silk blouse,
and the silk ruffly bow tie? I still have a hanger full of really
expensive women's silk ties---I can't bear to throw them away.
(I did find a use for a pretty green one this Christmas, though--it was
the perfect length to go twice around my dachshund's neck and tie in a
Christmas bow. Carrie Ann patiently wore it all evening at the family
Christmas dinner.)
