I want to link from HTML to a number of PDFs that originated in various
formats -- MS Word and FrameMaker to start with.
I think I understand how to create named destinations in FrameMaker; I
basically just turn this on when I generate the .ps file and it will make
my document larger.
==> What I do not understand is how do I know what the names of the
destinations are so that I can put their names into my HTML file.
And, I think I understand how to create tagged bookmarks from Word,
==> But -- same question -- how do I know what the names of the tagged
bookmarks are?
Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question. I have spent at least
two hours looking through the archives and in the Acrobat and FrameMaker
manuals.

There's information on this topic at Adobe's support site, including page
references to the Acrobat online guides (for 5.0, it's page 101): http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/a17e.htm
