STORY: Getting the Word Out on SnagIt - the Leading Screen Capture
Software
Dan the technical writer was feeling a little guilty. That morning, he'd
declined an offer to buy cookies, turned down a guy who called about
magazine subscriptions, and passed by the high school car wash on his way
to work.
He shook his head, cleared his mind and logged onto the Internet.
"Wow," Dan exhaled as he visited the SnagIt Web page. "People use SnagIt
in so many ways."
He devoured the page detailing how SnagIt customers used SnagIt with
Microsoft, Adobe and Macromedia's products.
After he finished reading, he thought about the number of people he knew
that used those software programs. Were they aware of how useful SnagIt
could be to them? But how to tell them?
A graphic on the Web page caught his eye. "Tell a friend!" the envelope
picture beckoned.
"I sure will!" Dan rejoiced. He immediately sent the Web address
information to everyone in his e-mail address book.
He sat back, satisfied. He'd done his good deed for the day - he made
everyone else's work a little easier.
But why stop there? Dan thought. He said aloud, "I'll get those cookies,
stop at the car wash after work, and hey - maybe I'll even call that
magazine subscription salesman back!"
