If you're using a PC, go to Start> Settings> Control Panel> Mouse, then go
to the Pointers tab
In my version of Windows 2000, the last item in the list is the hand
pointer for a link. You can take a screen shot of this, or go to the
source (on my computer, c:\winnt\cursors), or do a search for *.cur files.
Assuming you're using a PC, you should have a directory that includes the
cursors your mouse uses. Try something like C:/Windows/Cursors (I use XP -
that's where my directory is located). You could use one of the hand/pointed
finger icons by copying it to another location, etc.
If you're on Windows (you didn't say...), all of the mouse pointers
available for your system are accessible from the Control Panel/Mouse
utility. Choose the "Pointers" tab, browse until you find the specific
version of the "finger" pointer <g> you want to show, and take a screenshot
that you can then crop in the bitmap editor of your choice.
I used Google's image search.
Tried
cursor link
nothing in first few pages.
Tried
cursor hand
nothing in first few pages.
Tried
cursor hand link
and found this on first page. At least one other there, too.
I would recommend that you lay your hands on "The Ikon Book" by William
Horton. It was published in 1994, but it is still "the" source. You can
see details on it at: http://www.horton.com/index.htm It is available at
Amazon.com.
