In my experience, graphics with transparences do not PDF well. I don't use
Frame, but when I tried this in Word with transparent graphics I had similar
problems. It may be somewhere in Adobe documentation, but I have yet to find
it. I just discovered it from experience. You may need to make the graphics
non-transparent to get them to work properly.
Just a thought, I hope it helps.

Subject: Problem Creating PDFs with Graphics Containing Transparencies
Hello Folks,
Forgive me for cross-posting, but I need to cover as wide an audience as
possible for this one! (whimper)
I come to throw myself upon your tender mercies and beg for assistance! I am
having a problem that has left me sitting in a mostly vegetative state,
incapable of focusing on anything else...
I am creating a PDF using Acrobat Distiller 5.0, from your basic Frame 7.0
file. I create the .ps file first, then run Distiller to create the PDF.
Everything looks fine and I get no errors in the log - yet two graphics I
have (Illustrator 9.0) that contain transparencies do not print correctly.
Where the transparencies are prints as white boxes - not gray, white. And
the graphics also are in color in the PDF, even when I have checked off Spot
Color as Black/White in the Frame Print Document dialog, in addition to
setting the Distiller options to Black & White.
I am working with Win 2K, 256 MB RAM ( I know the memory is waaaay to low,
but it is what I have to work with for now).
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!!!
