When I was an aircraft/aerospace engineer (way back in the
1970's), Boeing was famous for engaging in massive hiring
and massive layoffs whenever their business rose and fell,
and of perpetually talking about moving out of WA. The
squawk was, don't take a job a Boeing unless you were
desperately unemployed, or looking for someone to
underwrite a move to Seattle and weren't worried about
continued employment. The only thing that surprises me
about Boeing outsourcing is that they didn't do it 20 years
ago. If your legislators gave Boeing a tax break and told
you it would save jobs in your state, they either didn't look into the company's history, were in Boeing's back
pocket or both.

The day before this announcement was made, our state legislature gave Boeing
a $3 BILLION tax break. So much for loyalty to the community as well...
