Let's not get into that debate on list. Claiming that US companies are not
subsidised is a real joke.
What do you call the tax concessions to Boeing mentioned earlier in this thread?
While true that EADS that owns Airbus is government owned, Boeing and the rest
of the US aviation industry is also heavily supported by US government projects
and programs. And yes, Bombardier benefits from Canadian government support and
customer loan guarantees as does Embraer and everyone else in the industry.
Keep in mind that those evil subsidised foreign companies have been hit hard by
the aviation downturn as well and have had their fair share of layoffs and
outsourcing as well.
