Seeing what you've done brings me little comfort as toThat's the whole point of a portfolio: to give you something to talk about during the interview that can prove your expertise. When I prepare to meet a potential client or employer, one of the things I do is to choose the samples that might interest them, and then decide what I'm going to say. I don't go so far as to rehearse with someone (my wife is not THAT long-suffering), but I do mentally prepare some notes in my mind about what I would like to say about each sample I take.
your ability to do it. I'd much rather you talked about it, especially your
challenges. How you talk about what you did is much more valuable than
showing me the end result.
