Dick's e-mail could have been worded as a request and not a demand, could
have been civil and not angry, and could have been off-list and not on-list.
And I stand by my celebrity comment... If you don't want the attention, the
name recognition, and the attributions, then don't promote yourself (either
at all or in a way you don't want to be remembered).
