TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
But (and I use a specific name here because Eric did so) what about the Geoff Harts of the world? He posts several times a day, and each of them is well-thought-out, gracious, and helpful (IMHO), whether or not one knows or can specifically use what he is even writing about. Limiting folks such as Geoff (and he's the best and most obvious example, but not the only one) would be a major detriment to the list, from where I sit.

I have an idea: one post per day rule.
If people could only post one response per day, they might start thinking a little more about what they were posting.
