Yep, those kinds of comments are very nice. I had a similar moment a week
or so ago.
While writing the documentation for the next release, I asked the developer
questions about how his stuff worked. Later he told me "Some of the
questions you've raised may influence future decisions."
I may never hear anything from the users, but one small corner of the
company now thinks differently because I was here.
