> I need some guidelines for creating a product brochure. The product is a
> digital signature solution for stock brokers.
Reviewing brochures of other products or competitors' products will
change the way you look at your product. Such an exercise will give you a
general idea about the competitive advantages and you can highlight those
features unique to your product or the way your product gives certain
features.
First, get a general idea about the expectations that users have from
such a product and tell the users how your product meets those
expectations. You need not try to go deeper into the technical aspects or
the way the features work. You can use persuasive language and address
your users in second person. Convey your ideas using text, charts and
other graphics. Graphics can be screen shots from the product,
illustrations of the workflow, snaps of product usage, etc. It is good if
you can talk to some of your customers and find out how your product
caters to their work flows. If you can get positive testimonies from
them, include them along with some photographs and company names/logos.
Do not forget to get permissions for publishing testimonies and using
company names. All the best!
