> Database driven single sourcing:
> Database driven single sourcing identifies grains of information
> as fields
> within a database. These fields can then be identified and
> assembled using a

> solution is making use of database technology
It is important to note that "database driven" is not, in itself, a
different style of single sourcing. The key differentiator in terms of the
degree of single sourcing you can achieve and the amount of redundancy you
can eliminate, it the model you use to represent your content store.
Databases can express many different data models. And many different data
models can be expressed and managed without using a database. It is true
that some models lend themselves more readily to the use of a database, but
the fact that a particular system does or does not use a database is not, in
itself, any indication of its capabilities.
