I have other words for it, and responsive ain't one.

But, ja mon, that's the way it goes sometimes and with
some companies. I've been there. Sometimes I had the
"power" to say 'I stop writing on X date, which is the
code freeze date. Any changes will be release noted,
but the books/Help go out as-is after X date.' Other
times I had the "power" to say 'how high?'
But, do be proactive in trying to establish content
freezes. There's more to gain than would-be overtime.
