> More importantly, how could we respond to this change?
Over the last week, I've received three calls (two of them yesterday); two
from recruiters for contract positions and one from an in-house recruiter
for a direct hire...one contract was long term (year+) and the other
contract was short term (30 days).
If there was anything in common, it was knowledge of a specific technology.
In this case, Enterprise Integration Applications. It was not based on my
ability to ask questions and it wasn't based on my ability to write for the
uninformed.
What I'm getting at is that apparently what made me of interest was
knowledge, not ability.
Therefore, it leads me to believe that if they want "any'ole writer", India
or China or anywhere else is just fine. Instead, learn something real,
something specific.
