Right on all counts, Grace. While it is a demanding job, teaching at the
college or university level can also be very rewarding. For every nut-job
student, there are a few more whose work and dedication truly inspire you.
It's definitely the kind of job you'd take for the love of it rather than
the money!

My mother's a University professor and I hear how students can be. It is a
lot more work than you think - it ismore than a full time desk job so be
sure you ould wnat to do this. It is hard mentally and physically and
for -lower pay-. I hope you will get the PhD for the love of writing because
that is what will keep you going...
