Check out yesterday's post on my weblog. It may be of interest to those of
you who'd like to see better information design, not just pretty web sites.
The post details a recently announced contest to redesign usability guru
Jakob Nielsen's useit.com site.

The site has only been up for a short period. I've been using it to help me
find job leads, writing opportunities, etc. I'm still back-filling it with
old articles and creating new content as time allows. I'd appreciate any
feedback or suggestions you might have. Be aware that I'm not a site
designer. I've actually made use of blogging software to create the site and
publish content. I have documented the work of some other tech writers who
blog as well. The article about blogging is available in the Tech Writing
section of the site.
Thanks!
