TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
That's illogical. No one would ask a lab clinician to do your job. And if
you didn't have an affinity for or interest in biomed, you wouldn't seek the
opportunity. Biomedical information comes to a person in a variety of ways
if they are interested in the field, not just through taking a degree in it.
A good technical writer knows their abilities and interests, and pursues
jobs that can enhance their career.

I'm a good technical writer...I can't write about the biomed field. I also
don't expect a lab clinician to write about stored procedures and MSMQs.
