Even the most experienced Windows programmers often keep MSDN open behind
their work. There is no way to memorize every nook and cranny of a language,
and so having a reference handy when you occasionally venture into one of
those dark corners is a Good Thing.
Plus, some of them are even fun to read. Scary, eh? :)
