I don't know...

If I have a real complex subject, I'll spend a great deal of time learning
about it...it's now not complex to me. Which means, I should be able to
pound out the document pretty fast, which makes it proportionally smaller
against the learning time than a subject that is relatively simple, but I
know very little about it, which means I've spent more tome on the document
against the time I spent on the learning.

Let's say I take 3 weeks to learn something complex, and a week to write
about it. The writing is 33% of the learning. On the toaster, I spend a day
writing, but only a day learning. The writing is now 100% of the learning.
