Well, they ^are^ pretty useless. Admit it. What does a teddy bear do except collect dust and make you sneeze.
My stuffed horse, on the other hand, with its complex, well-rounded personality, is a definite asset as a successful agent of mood modification. So are the stuffed cat, tiger cub, and hedgehog.
