Trust your instincts and stick to your principles. You will thank yourself
later. Jobs that require this kind of test (in my opinion) are generally
low-quality jobs, with a poor attitude toward employees. The test is a red
flag, you'd do better to pass it by.

On the other hand, perhaps it's a great job, but the recruiter is wacky.
Maybe the employer doesn't know about or even approve of this test.

The usual advice applies: try to rely mostly on personal contacts and
networking.
