The closest thing to a complete tutorial for this sort of thing is Bob
Stayton's excellent book on using the Docbook Modular Stylesheets and
setting up the tools environment. This is online at:

You can also buy an ebook copy from there.

Yeah, getting these tools up and running is kinda tough. On the other
hand one has a complete, free technical publishing environment with more
power than either Framemaker or RoboHelp after you're finished.
