In regard to the postings below, for the formatting part, that is why
SGML (standardized general markup language) was in invented. I think
that the various governments and major organizations missed an
opportunity to make their organizations less dependent on specific
vendors for word processing and desktop publishing. I believe Corel's
Word Perfect 11 will store and retrieve SGML documents.
