Hi Geoff:
We do have the original(s) of this document. Going back 12 years in PageMaker, then to HTML, then to Word, then to FrameMaker.
And, yes, we are going to use the HTML.
BUT -- this seems to me to be a regression. I was using Acrobat 5 and never have I had such poor results. If it could at least get all the text in the right order that would be -- acceptable.
It seems like maybe this was a strategic decision by Adobe to attempt to lock people into Acrobat? But what it's doing is really pissing off the SMEs and adding fuel to their arguments that we should stay in Word and never go the FM/Acrobat route.
