Re: Word - Automatic Revision #
Anyone have any evidence on how Word assigns this revision number? Is it just when the document was opened, edited, and saved? That seems a little too simple.
I never noticed this before. But, after a quick test, I determined that the revision number goes up every time you "save" the document. It did not change for just opening the document, or when I closed without saving any changes.
