Sheesh. What's the value of personalizing an application? It's not critical,
but it certainly makes the system more personable. "Hey, someone knows who I
am!" Of course, there may be some who fear the machine knowing them
personally. It's not possible, I feel, to quantify the benefit of adding
this touch, but it may make the web app more warm and friendly to the user.
