Rich de Vecchis asked:
>Has anyone used the Microsoft Word 2002 Inside Out book?
>Is there something better?
There's probably something better, but Inside Out has a certain amount
of value. One is that it's so doggone thick, you can be sure that most
everything is covered, at least in some way.
A second advantage is the CD that contains the complete contents of the
book. Load it, and now the book is easily searched.
On the downside, the book certainly pushes the MS official line. The
book deals with master documents as though they actually work, and I
learned more about the potential for conditional text here on techwr-l
than I did from the book.
