The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
given the amount of bandwidth that's frittered away on trivia on this list,
it didn't seem too far outside the realm of reasonable requests to ask a
question requiring a yes/no answer (one which nobody actually seemed to know
the answer to) as to whether it was within the bounds of the EULA to make a
second copy of a microsoft product (project, specifically) for their own
personal use. you may consider that "handholding"; it seemed more like "a
quick question" to me.
I know that *I* would prefer to read that question/ answer combo than some
of the wandering discourses on nothing at all that go on for hundreds of
messages.
