There's two ways to do it. The default topic is
decided by which one of these you do LAST before you
recompile:
Open the TOC tab and drag the topic you want to
appear when the help browser opens to the very top of
the TOC structure.
Select File > Project Settings, click the Compile
tab, click Select, pick the default topic you want,
and click OK.
Open Windows Explorere and do a search for the file
name "Robohtml.chm". If it's not on your system, then
the help for Robohelp wasn't installed. If it is - I
don't know how to point the Robohelp application
toward the file location, but if you can find it you
can map a shortcut to it manually.
