Re: English major as TW prerequisite?
Actually, I've found that the reverse was true. When I started tech-writing, some potential employers and clients worried that I lacked a technical background . That's not mentioned any more, because my resume gives proof that I can. However, for a few months, it was a frustrating problem.
Has anyone
else found that not having an English degree has hurt them at some time
in their career?
