The only people being exploited are consumers and the general economy in our own
countries.

The 25 cent a day subsistence wage that a factory worker receives in a third
world economy is much better than the much lower wage they receive as poor rural
labourers. I think many just get sanctimonious because they don't like knowing
that people work for them at such wages and would prefer that they suffer
anonymously back on the farms.
