Re: Has anyone used this PDF writer
I thought PDF was a proprietary format. The standard has been widely published, so there's a number of different programs for producing PDFs.
I don't have Acrobat, so whenever I needIf you're interested, you can get several pieces of free software to produce PDFs. Ghostview/ghostscript gives you complete PDF functionality, if you don't mind working from the command line. OpenOffice.org is another good choice, although the current version doesn't support hyperlinks in PDF (come back in about ten months if that's important). Both are available in Windows versions.
to make a PDF of my resume, I go to Harvard University's employment site. When
you upload your resume, you can preview it in PDF and save it.
