I received one too. In truth, I debated whether or not it constituted
spam. I suppose it did, because it was unsolicited, but in truth I
actually joined the group, because it looks interesting and was right up
my alley. This is actually what spam should be--low volume and carefully
targeted towards interested users.
I don't think they got my address from this group, though, as they
contacted me via a different address. I suspected they found my site on
the Web (I'm ranked pretty high for some related search terms). Cheers.
