Not much, though, and a bad idea to boot. Read on...


1. Paste your text into Notepad to remove all formatting. Copy & paste into Word template.

7. Go through your document, one paragraph at a time, applying the
correct paragraph style from the approved template.

8. Go through your document, one character at a time, applying the
correct character style from the approved template.

It *looks* efficient to cut 5 steps out of an 8-step process, but they take less than a minute to perform, and they're *really* important.

Without steps 2 through 6, the approved template won't be attached to the document, and you'll have to repeat steps 7 and 8 (the time-killers) every time the template is updated.
