Re: "master" and "slave" banned in Los Angeles County
In the past, this list has debated the use of some standard computer terminology. For example, "execute" and "abort" have both been questioned.
For those with fond (and not so fond) memories of these discussions, this just in: the County of Los Angeles is asking hardware vendors not to use "master" and "slave" in their documentation:
