I have a Dell laptop. I needed service. I was less than
pleased with something that happened during the service,
which was actually a FedEx problem, so I immediately
escalated to a Dell manager because the Dell tech seemed
less than responsive. The problem was addressed very well
and as an apology, received a digital camera, which I gave
to my girlfriend. Not a great one (I'm referring to the
camera, not the girlfriend), but one that could be hooked up
as a web cam (I'm still referring to the camera, not the
girlfriend).
I was happy with the way it was resolved because my GF was
happy with the way it was resolved. Subsequently, her son
needed a computer and she had him go with a Dell. Her sister
needed a computer. She also went with a Dell.
