Most of the specs on FM master pages can be copied
from other master pages, reducing the time
requirements. And the amount of time needed to set up
master pages in FM is nowhwere near as much as time as
in wasted in Word battling problems in heading styles,
autonumbering, TOC generation, indexing, etc.
Refer back to my original message on this thread. As I
said, FrameMaker has its problems but it has the
overriding advantage of being stable. At least in FM,
once I get my settings right they stay that way.
