Well, I don't think its ludacrous. A lot of writers give content lip service.
They'll nod and agree that content is important, but in reality they don't want
to worry about it. The whole idea of "subject matter experts" was invented by
tech writers so they could offload responsibility for content to somebody else,
freeing them to become copy editors and tool monkeys.
So, I think its important to say it - over and over if necessary: Content is
king.
