Patrick,
As you have gotten pretty consistent responses from all corners (with
one exception), you might consider printing out all the comments and
saving them in a file folder for when the marketing person comes back in
a month and asks why you didn't implement the suggestion. I wouldn't
wave them in front of his or her nose, now or ever. Just have them
available to demonstrate that you did the research and came to the
conclusion that the suggestion didn't warrant implementation.
