Subject:Doc comparisons in Framemaker MAKING ME NUTS!!! From:"Wright, Lynne" <lwright -at- positron911 -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Mon, 8 Mar 2004 14:56:19 -0500
I'm working in Frame +SGML 6.0 and i'm trying to run a document comparison
(using File > Utilities > Compare Documents.)
But i'm getting this error message:
"No flow in the document named [file name] has unique names.
To be compared, documents must contain uniquely named flows with matching
names.
Flow names: A"
I can't figure out what the #*&($@ that's supposed to mean... (how can flows
be uniquely named, but have matching names?!?!?!) I've tried comparing the
files when they have the same names, and when they've got different names. I
tried changing the Flow name in the older doc to B.
But I still get the same error message.
Any idears as to what I'm doing wrong?
thanks in advance
Lynne Wright
