I've been using green - it's non-threatening, yet stands outand it, and
doesn't get confused with any other blue or black ink comments.
Green works. In traditional publishing, the _editor_ (person making suggestions to the author) uses a blue pencil and the _redactor_ (person giving instructions to the compositor) uses green. But we're not in Kansas anymore and if green does the job for you, feel free.
